This one was supposed to happen in September 2019. We were planning a retirement trip for Ashley’s mom… and then we found out we were pregnant and due September 2019.

Let the countdown to November 5th, 2061 begin!

Billy has written 4 books, but this is a together goal

December 2017 - We saw (THE) Bette Midler in Holly Dolly! Since then, we have also seen Dear Evan Hansen, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and Come From Away on Broadway. We might be addicted…

Billy has “The Boss” 12 times, and 4 of those times with Ashley. …and 6 of those times with his dad. So it’s kind of a family thing.

We have been very intrigued by minimalism and this seems like the ultimate challenge.

Specifically a line of social justice onesies. As parents, we see so many ridiculous clothing items that reinforce many gender norms. We’d love to create a line of social justice onesies to fight these constructs.

We love learning… which means we have a lot of student loans.

While in Tahoe (‘14), we looked into this but there wasn’t enough snow on the ground to do it yet.

Between living in the US and travelling to Europe, we are 2 for 7 right now.

We would love to host an international student for the exposure to a new culture, but this always competed with our travel dreams. We aren’t normally home long enough to host a student!

The idea of someone in the future saying “Oh, this is my grandparents’ recipe!” would be the best legacy.

We have enjoyed a healthy travel schedule as a couple. Now as a family of three we hope to turn our son into a travel junkie and expose him to the world around him.

In early 2018, we flew to Phoenix and road-tripped to the Grand Canyon for the breathtaking views.

We blame this one on Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies.

Billy has checked this one off as a solo goal but this is our together-list!

We’ve been visiting Hawaii every year (since 2015) and calling it home would be better.

In 2018 we spontaneously attended the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque. After seeing them up close, we quickly added riding in on our list.

We’ve each done thhis many times… but this is a together dream!

In 2017, we froze our butts off seeing the Rockefeller tree, the 5th Avenue window displays, and Union Square market.

- Harry Truman (Independence, MO) in ‘17
- John F. Kennedy (Boston, MA) in ‘18

We have 11 more to go!

Billy made this drive all the time to visit his family as a child and now we look forward to doing the drive with our little family.

Knocked this one off in ‘18

Ashley got the opportunity to deliver a workshop during a conference hosted in Seattle. We tagged on a few extra days to check out the Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and the Seattle Great Wheel.

Not sure if this is even possible, but we still want to attempt.

Billy has knocked this one out many times but we haven’t delivered a speech together to a large group.

We officially launched our business, Bashley Collaborative, in early 2019.

When we were dating we joked about a dream honeymoon in Tahiti. That didn’t happen but we are dreaming of stay on the water there.

Billy taught a course before but we would love to do this together.

…not entirely sure this is possible, but it is a dream!

As wanna-be minimalists, this would be amazing!
